Taking part in the BG Energy Challenge is about more than an exciting weekend in the great outdoors; it is also about raising essential funds for charity.

The BG Energy Challenge 2009 - Oman will raise money for the Al Noor Association for the Blind. The funds raised will enable the Association to provide permanent premises for the blind community of Dakhiliya and Dhahira regions.  These premises will feature a workshop for handwork, training rooms including a Braille educational room and IT laboratory.  They will also feature functional and recreation areas including a library, offices and gym.

Each team is required to raise a minimum of OMR 2,500 through its own fundraising efforts.  We are challenging everyone in the industry to exceed the record breaking OMR 120,000 raised in 2008 for the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Special Needs.
