BG holds a 32.5% interest in the giant Karachaganak oil and gas condensate field and, along with our partner, ENI, is a joint operator of this field. It is also a 2% shareholder in the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), which links Kazakhstan’s oil reserves to world markets.

Red Rock International

BG is teaming up with Red Rock International to deliver the BG Energy Challenge 2008 - Kazakhstan.

Red Rock International provides leadership and team training courses and events around the world. They specialise in challenging, adventurous courses in wild places to bring teams together and develop leadership skills for improved business performance.

Red Rock International – based in the UK – plans to open an office in Almaty to become the first experiential business training company in Kazakhstan. The local office will provide training and employment for Kazakhs, bringing the highest quality training tailored to local and expatriate companies throughout Kazakhstan.

The directors – Nick Ashley and Robert Landon mix their business experience in engineering and pharmaceutical backgrounds with a passion for outdoor pursuits: mountaineering, kayaking, rock climbing and caving.
