BG India is a key private sector contributor to the country's long-term gas strategy, developing and managing significant operations in exploration and production and with growing transmission and distribution business interests.

BG India has a 30% stake in the Panna/Mukta and Tapti oil and gas fields which produce around 8% of India’s total oil and gas production. BG India holds a 45% stake in the Krishna Godavari Basin - Block KG-OSN-2004/1. BG Group also holds a 65.12% controlling stake in Gujarat Gas Company Limited (GGCL) and a 49.75% stake in Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) in Mumbai.

The 50 member SLA team comprising experienced rafters, kayakers, climbers and naturalists is one of the most professional teams in India. Four of SLA’s outdoor instructors have over 15 years of adventure experience while two are qualified mountaineering instructors. SLA’s outdoor team is trained and certified in First Aid and CPR.
