Contributing or raising funds for charity is amongst the most critical components of the Energy Challenge series. Since 1996, worldwide BG Energy Challenge events have contributed over £3.7 million to charity.

The inaugural BG Energy Challenge - India will raise funds for two important charities - Cancer Patients' Aid Association (CPAA) and the Women's Cancer Initiative - Tata Memorial Hospital  (WCI).  Each team must raise or contribute a minimum of Rs 450,000 towards charity - this is a pre-requisite for participation.  Contributions need to be paid via cheque or demand draft in favour of the event partner charity(ies) that you wish to benefit from the event.
