The BG Energy Challenge is organised by trained and experienced CARE staff. All funds raised go directly to helping the underprivileged people in Upper Egypt. The events are well-known for their professionalism and attention to detail.

The CARE organising team has extensive experience and knowledge of the Egyptian deserts, its terrain, and its people. In addition, the team handles all matters related to logistics, accommodation, transportation, medical and security issues, and communication.

The team is aided by a devoted group of volunteers who are avid desert lovers, experienced in leading groups in the mountains and valleys of Egypt.
