The BG Energy Challenge 2007 - Egypt took place from 6-9 December in Wadi El-Gimal National Park in the south east of Egypt by the Red Sea.

Total funds pledged raised over $120,000 for CARE Egypt.  140 participants, forming 25 teams, mostly from the energy sector, spent two days hiking and climbing mountains in the Wadi as well as taking part in competitive games between each climb.

The BG Energy Challenge is the team building event for the global energy industry. It is an exciting mix of physical and mental challenges which encourage team building, communication and leadership whilst raising vital funds for event organisers CARE Egypt.
