The BG Energy Challenge adheres to a strict code of conduct to protect the areas of land that are used. CARE International donates two percent of the income raised from this event and others they are associated with back into footpath restoration and environmental projects. In addition, in association with Climate Care, an organisation that helps individuals and companies to reduce their own impact on global warming, a proportion of the funds raised will be converted into planting trees to offset fuel emissions.
