About Foundation for the Enhancement and Enrichment of Life
The Foundation for the Enhancement and Enrichment of Life (FEEL) collaborates with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) which serve the poor, needy and the handicapped so as to help them help others even more.
Their goals:
- To assist NGOs development by offering appropriate training
- To network all NGOs which are members of FEEL
- To assist NGOs in identifying agencies which can provide them with funding to carry out their various projects
- To act as a facilitator to NGOs which have difficulty in providing the items that they need, e.g., food, clothes, pharmaceuticals
- To assist the country by providing items which are not necessarily those required by their NGOs
Their vision:
To assist the disadvantaged of Trinidad and Tobago to improve their economic, physical and social situations, so that they can develop themselves, become more independent and chart their own courses.

About United Way and Vision
The mission of United Way is to improve people’s lives by mobilising the caring power of communities.
United Way International is the global organization dedicated to strengthening communities and improving lives around the world. The United Way movement includes approximately 3,000 community-based United Way organizations in over 40 countries. Each is independent, separately incorporated, and governed by local volunteers.
United Way Trinidad and Tobago (UWTT) was launched to assist the vast network of local non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) and community-based groups (CBO’s) in their work, facilitating new projects in their continuing effort to make a difference in the lives of people who need the most help.
United Way activates community resources to make the greatest possible human impact. In Trinidad and Tobago, charitable funds will be collected and distributed to various NGO’s and CBO’s to facilitate their work. In addition to the distribution of funds, United Way will also implement a system to ensure accountability, not just in terms of fund allocation and expenditure but also to assess the impact of the projects in the community.
