The BG Energy Challenge 2008 – T&T took place on the island of Tobago from 16-18 May. 

Thirty five teams from across the energy, financial and services sectors participated in a number of different activities including hiking, team building, and orienteering. For the first time, teams were also set to work on local community projects; repainting school walls, car parks and clearing playgrounds as well as painting a home for abused women and children.

Teams raised TT$1.2 million for event charities Foundation for the Enhancement and Enrichment of Life (FEEL) and United Way Trinidad and Tobago (UWTT). Since 2003 the event has raised over TT $6.2 million for these charities, which in turn have assisted many charitable groups and individuals throughout Trinidad & Tobago.
