Who we support
Taking part in the BG Energy Challenge is about more than an exciting weekend in the great outdoors; it is also about raising essential funds for charity.
Since 1996 global events have raised more than £6.2 million for deserving causes worldwide, benefiting local communities close to where events take place.
Since 2004, the BG Energy Challenge - Egypt has raised over $1,000,000 for CARE Egypt. The proceeds have benefited a number of deserving projects including:
- Basic education for young girls
- Water and sanitation projects for rural communities
- Income and jobs generation for 13,000 rural families
- Assisting women against violence.
