What is the challenge
The BG Energy Challenge is the team building and networking event for the global energy industry.
2004 saw the birth of the partnership between BG Egypt and CARE Egypt in organising the first ever BG Energy Challenge in Egypt. The inaugural event included more than 120 participants who hiked an average of eight hours each day for two days, conquering Egypt’s highest mountain, Mt. Catherine, on the second day.
Since then, this event has continued to grow with more teams entering and higher funds being raised for deserving causes. Watching the teams cross the finish line arm in arm, looking out for each other, is what makes the BG Energy Challenge so special.
Last year, more than 205 particpants forming thirty-five teams raised US$180,000.
