Who we support
Taking part in the BG Energy Challenge is about more than an exciting weekend in the great outdoors; it is also about raising essential funds for charity.
In 2009, sixty-five teams raised over US $161,000 (R$ 290.000,00) for event charities Centre for Digital Inclusion (CDI), which promotes digital and social inclusion to low income communities and Action for Brazil's Children (ABC Trust) which is dedicated to helping street children and the most vulnerable young people of Brazil. The funds raised will pay toward a digital inclusion school in São Paulo and improvements in other CDI schools as well as benefit ABC Trust supported projects in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Pernambuco and Bahia States in Brazil.
