Team rules
Each team consists of three people plus a reserve in case an official member has to be replaced prior to the event. Return transportation, accommodation, food and specialist equipment during the event is provided.
Each team is asked to raise a minimum amount for charity. In 2009 the required amount was $R3,300 per team.
